August 14, 2018-Augst 15, 2018 – I had just started working at an Arby’s. It was my first day. I was hanging out with a couple of my new co-workers. One boss would come out occasionally and give us some instructions. I noticed a sign for a Happy Hour deal. I asked the boss how that worked. He gave me an explanation, but it was for something else. I went to the bathroom several times. It was right by an office and the kitchen. On my way back, I was wondering if I would be getting some training soon. I still didn’t know most of the menu items. I hadn’t had to go on register yet. We’d had suspiciously few customers thus far. Concurrently, I was hanging out at home at my parents’ house in the living room. I went to my bedroom a few times and tested out my bed. Something wasn’t quite right with the air conditioning.

November 28, 2021-November 29, 2021 – I was reading a book that I was excited to use for class or some similar purpose. But then I saw who the author was: Armond White. So now I wasn’t too sure that it would have ideas that I would be okay with. But I was still excited to use it, so I was going to flip through it to make sure.

February 3, 2024- February 4, 2024 – I was watching the Super Bowl with my parents. The Chiefs were heading down the field on the opening drive. Patrick Mahomes orchestrated a few good plays and eventually jumped into the end zone. I think I wondered if this was actually the Super Bowl.

February 2, 2024-February 3, 2024 – I was at an event on Friday evening that was just up the street from my apartment. It looked like a bookstore or a library. Soon enough, I decided that it was time to leave. I walked past the other places of business in this building. One of them was an Erewhon grocery store, which gave me the willies, so I scurried past it. The last place at the end of the building was a smoothie café. It looked like they were Erewhon smoothies. I decided to take a closer look at the menu. Then I was walking back to my apartment. It was about 6:53. I considered going out to karaoke, but it felt too late. So I decided instead to get a milkshake from Shake Shack.
