Archive for April, 2015

April 24, 2015-April 25, 2015 – I was waking up on the Sunday morning of the Broad Street Run. There were a few people in my bedroom, keeping track of my progress. I woke up around 8:00. I needed to go back asleep so that I could wake up instead at 5:00 and make it to the race in time, as it started at 8:00. If I set my alarm for 5:00, then I would wake up when I needed to. Waking up earlier than it was now sounded like time travel, though. But I walked back into my room and into bed, because I just needed to wake up on time. I went through some more fuss, then I was out driving, on my way to the race. I got to the Big Oak-Stony Hill intersection as I started to slow down. It was about 7:00; I didn’t know how I could get there on time.

Oh, No, Not the Bees!

April 14, 2015-April 15, 2015 – I was walking and running through some places outside.  Family was gathered.  There were a bunch of bees flying around – small bees, large bees – all with their stingers perched dangerously.

Guitar Hero, or Whatever

March 22, 2013-March 23, 2013 – I was getting set up to play Guitar Hero with my friend Walt.  I gave him the GH guitar controller, which we were quickly reminded wasn’t working.  In fact, there seemed to be only one guitar that was working.  We tried to figure something out to make a second one work.

December 12, 2013-December 13, 2013 – I was seeing the movie Prisoners with a couple of friends at the Regal E-Walk theatre in Times Square, or sort of at that theatre.  The very end was different, like more drawn out, than the first time we saw it.  We were standing around in the lobby.  It was bigger than before, with multiple levels.  And it was quite busy, especially considering it was a weekday.  We met up with a couple other friends who happened to be there seeing something else.  I went back into to the theatre at the end of the credits.  There was another scene.  Hugh Jackman was tapping against the well.  There was no way Jake Gyllenhaal couldn’t hear him at this point.  He looked into the well.  It was ridiculously deep.  I thought they were making it too obvious that Hugh Jackman was probably going to be saved.

April 8, 2015-April 9, 2015 – I was reading reviews of Furious 7 in what looked like a computer lab classroom at school.  There didn’t appear to be a class going on, just a few people hanging out and doing work.  Someone asked me to get going.  I said to just wait, as I wanted to read The Dissolve‘s review of Furious 7.  I googled “Fast 7 the dissolve.”  Then I changed the beginning to “Furious 7.”  Armond White had written the review.  I was excited to find out that he was now writing for The Dissolve!

Family Target Trip

June 29, 2014-June 30, 2014 – I was at a Target-style store with my family.  I waited by the registers while my mom and dad were picking something up.  There was actually a set of registers near what Mom and Dad were picking up, in addition to the ones out front.
