June 20, 2016-June 21, 2016 – I went over to a school campus with a few people to gather some items. When I got there, I was watching the Community Season 2 premiere. The study group was arriving and walking through campus. It cut to them in their first class. There were about 6 rows in the room, each 3 desks deep. I was watching from a corner in the front. The whole study group was there, except Pierce, though he was mentioned a few times. The teacher asked Jeff something like, “You haven’t introduced everyone yet, have you?” So Jeff, who was sitting in the middle, went around, starting in the back, assigning the appropriate archetypes to everyone. There was a young girl in the back corner – Jeff said that she was “the nice one” or “the cute one” or something like that until Annie (who was sitting over on the opposite side of the room) came along. He said that Troy and Abed (with the former sitting behind the latter in the middle) were “obviously twins,” along with one other guy: some old guy who popped his head up behind Jeff. I don’t think Jeff said anything about Britta.  Then it got to the end of the room. Jeff was now sitting in the middle of the end row by the windows. Shirley was right in front of him. He called her a social butterfly, adding, “even though I hate that term, but well, that’s what she is.” Annie was sitting in the front of that row, but Jeff didn’t say anything about her. Then I remembered that he already had, when she was sitting on the other side. The teacher pointed out that Jeff hadn’t given himself a name. So Jeff said, “Well … I’m just wingin’ it.” This got a hearty chuckle out of me. All his classmates, though, turned on him (literally and metaphorically).

June 18, 2016-June 19, 2016 – I was leaving a technology job so that I could focus on writing. My boss wanted to talk to me before I left to see what he could do to get me to stay. He brought me in to his office. He was Gavin Belson, so I was working at Hooli. I started telling him what I would want. It quickly became clear that I would get anything I asked for.

June 16, 2016-June 17, 2016 – I was somewhere waiting for something to happen. The area felt like the sort with hotels and shopping centers. Kristen Bell was the only other one in the room with me. She wanted to get a quick dessert from the McDonald’s next store. I decided to get dinner from there. While we were in line, Kristen said that she would get an ice cream cone: vanilla. That was on the bottom of the menu. It looked unreasonably expensive. But then I looked closer at the menu – it was $1.49, which was certainly affordable, though still abut 20 cents more than I was expecting. Then a friend who was on his way texted me ten better and healthier options for dinner in the area.

May 23, 2016-May 24, 2016 – I was running home. It looked like I was in my neighborhood, but it felt like I was much farther away. I was supposed to be recording and/or listening to 3 podcasts as I was running. One of them was the Vulture TV Podcast. It was difficult to move fast, which was also making it difficult to take care of the podcasts.

June 13, 2016-June 14, 2016 – I was seeing a movie at a theater in Manhattan. It was a new Disney cartoon. It felt like it was in or near the Union Square area. It also felt like it was in the Jersey shore area. It was under an elevated subway. A train drove by right before the show started. The next one didn’t drive by until the trailers were ending. So that was every 20 minutes or so, so there wouldn’t be too many disruptions during the movie. The theater felt unusually thin. I think I was the only one there without kids.

In a White Room

May 21, 2016-May 22, 2016 – I was working in this huge lobby of a building. All the walls and furniture were white. It felt like there was a conference going on. I was doing work on a computer. Everyone else was standing around the way that you would at an art gallery. I walked into the next room (where the check-in area was) to grab something. Then I went back out to my computer.

May 27, 2016-May 28, 2016 – I was hanging out in a pool. I got out and then stood around by the side. It looked like my grandparents’ pool, but it had some characteristics of an ocean. My mom was in it. Keegan-Michael Key showed up, on the same side as me. We chatted a bit. He seemed to partially be playing a character, but he was definitely himself. Jordan Peele was on a boat in the water. He appeared to be playing a captain, but he was also himself. My mom yelled out that the waves were getting dangerous and that we needed to get away. I jumped in and grabbed Jordan. I had a hold of him on the opposite side. Whatever was causing the waves was now making rifts in the ground. With Jordan still in my arms, I jumped around and got back to the same side as Keegan. But then a crack was opening up in the middle, so I jumped across once more. Then it finally looked like it was over. I put Jordan down. Keegan was on the opposite side of the crack.
