July 21, 2019-July 22, 2019 – I was considering classic horror movies. I was thinking that The Thing wasn’t quite good enough to be on such a list. But then I realized that I had seen it and of course it was one of the best horror movies of all time. At one point I was conferring with someone who looked like Nicole Kidman on the topic.

April 8, 2021-April 9, 2021 – I was watching RuPaul’s Drag Race. It was down to the last five queens. Two of them were about to lip sync for their lives. The opening riff started, and I knew exactly what it was: “Satisfaction” by the Rolling Stones. I got super excited. But about halfway through, they weren’t doing much. One queen was standing in place doing acoustic air guitar, while the other queen remained in the same spot while swinging her hips and moving her arms up and down.

April 3, 2021-April 4, 2021 – I was watching Terminator 2. It was an early scene in which the T-800 had just picked everyone and now they were speeding away in a truck on the highway. Lauren Lapkus was playing a character sitting in the backseat. Linda Hamilton (as Sarah Connor) was in the front passenger seat, or driving. I think she had a shotgun. Another vehicle was coming after them from in front. Julia Sweeney was playing a character in that car. The T-800 hit her with his sword. She became liquid metal, revealing that she, too, was a Terminator.
