Peter Travers-ing

August 9, 2013-August 10, 2013 – I was reading the movie reviews in Rolling Stone.  There were four reviews.  Three of them were designed around the main review, which was for White House Down.  That got 2 and a half stars.  The review wasn’t as enthusiastic as I expected from Peter Travers.  Also it didn’t really sound like his writing.  Then I discovered that it was a female reviewer.  I looked at the lower-right corner, expecting to see that Travers was on vacation.  But instead there was a bio of the female reviewer.  It looked like Travers had left RS.

October 16, 2013-October 17, 2013 – I was with a group of people.  We were running to catch a person who was going to put a bomb on a plane.  We just missed him as he got onto the plane.  Then we were sitting around the lobby, being disappointed that we hadn’t caught him.  Then we heard that the guy wasn’t on the plane and that he was running to the plane again.  Then we got to chasing after him again.  He jumped onto a train that was headed to the plane.  We just missed him again.  There was another train right after that one.  Someone from our group jumped onto that one in pursuit of the guy.  It was a reckless move, and we were all worried about him.  But… it seemed like there was a chance he might catch up to him.

My Spidey Sense Is Tangling

What Am I Watching?

April 22, 2012-April 23, 2012 – I walked out to the family room, where Kaity had been watching TV, but she had just left the room.  She had been watching something on “Netflix TV.”  There was a naked guy and naked girl.  The guy lay down on his back, and then the girl was at his leg.  The camera was on the guy’s (shaved) penis, and it steadily zoomed in for a closeup.  I wondered what the program description for this show was.  I tried to bring that up, but it went away as soon as it came up.  I then changed the channel.  I brought up the program description for this channel, and then I tried to bring up the description for the channel I had just been on.  Eventually I switched back to Netflix TV as I realized that this was a whole channel (or series of channels) that was all porn and easy to access.

December 4, 2012-December 5, 2012 – Rob and I were downstairs in the computer room.  We were with a couple of family members – Aunt Beth, maybe, and a cousin.  Rob started dancing/walking like David Byrne in the video for “Who.”  I then joined him to complement and complete his performance.  I was wondering how we would do St. Vincent’s part.

October 1, 2013-October 2, 2013 – I was doing laundry at school.  I found a second laundry room on the second floor.  Ultimately I was in the main laundry room.  The card dispenser machine had been converted into a washing machine, or it had been one all along.  There were two washing machines that said “-3” on their time left.  But there were still clothes in them.  I decided to wait for someone to retrieve their clothes.  There was one other person in the room right now.

February 11, 2014-February 12, 2014 – I was walking to class.  It was Thursday, so it had started to rain.  I had my umbrella up.  The street was clearly wider than it normally was.  The color palette was almost entirely black and blue.  The street went downhill despite it normally being flat.  As I caught sight of the building I was headed to, I saw Annie Edison.  In the course of heading to class, I was also re-experiencing the Community episode “Basic Intergluteal Numismatics.”  I patted Annie on the head as I walked past her.  In the building, I was upstairs for a bit, and then I was ultimately back on the first floor.  I was in a meeting room.  “BIN” was playing out somewhat differently than it had the first time.  Annie and Jeff were conferring about something that was hanging on the wall.
