It Was You All Along

October 28, 2023- October 29, 2023 – I was sitting on the floor and talking with someone (one of the Culkin brothers) who was also sitting, while someone else was standing. I was talking about a movie I saw a while ago. I identified one of the movie’s stars, and I was about to mention that it also starred Kieran Culkin, when I realized that that’s who I was talking to, so I pointed to him and said “You!” Then he started talking.

Winter with Chucky

October 18, 2023-October 19, 2023 – I was in the latest chapter of the Chucky story. After a near-encounter with Chucky, someone young and I ran out of a big house and into the snowy expanse. We made it pretty far away and huddled under a small hill for a little bit. Then I headed back to the mansion to try to find Chucky. It was fairly dark inside. At one point, I caught a quick glance of him behind a lounge-style piece of furniture. It seemed like we had potentially cornered him, although of course he seemed to never die.

Killers of the Dimly Lit Flower Moon

October 10, 2023-October 11, 2023 – I went with my brother to see a 3:00 PM press screening of Killers of the Flower Moon. We were the only ones there. The rows of seats went upwards and looked down at the TV screen. We sat in the middle of the back row. I was wondering how I was going to stay awake for the whole thing. About a half hour into it, Martin Scorsese walked into the room and stopped the movie because of the poor picture quality. A couple other people  came in to monitor what was happening. My brother unplugged something that the movie was playing through. It looked like an Xbox. Then he pointed something out on the back. I thought he was saying that one of the input dials wasn’t working. But actually he was saying that a whole panel was fried, and that’s what was messing up the picture. I asked Marty what would be a good theater to see this movie in the city. He mentioned The Paris Theater. I said that the Alamo Drafthouses usually had good projection. This all took about 10 minutes, and then we we got back to watching the movie. I felt like I could fall asleep at any moment. At some point, I was watching a TV show for about 15 minutes with a different group of people. Then I got back to watching Killers.

The Killer Crew

October 7, 2023-October 8, 2023 – I was watching a movie that I think took place in China. There was a group of professional criminals. The woman in charge was very disappointed in how they’d just performed. They were standing outside by their car. The head woman had her associates get in the car. Then she shot one of the younger women in the head through the window. Then she shot another one of them. Then she and the main guy were standing outside the car. I wondered if she was going to shoot him, too. But then they just looked around, considering what to do next.

Running Up That Hill

September 30, 2023-October 1, 2023 – I went into a fancy, minimalist house. Most of the furnishings in the living room were rock or marble. Then I was at some sort of event taking place outside on the street. My brother was also there. There were several vendors gathered here. There was a race going on in which we ran up and down the hill. It looked like a certain hill on a road near my childhood neighborhood. I greeted some of the vendors as I ran past them. Then the race was suddenly ending, so I had to do one last up-and-down. I checked in with one particular vendor as I finished up.
