October 20, 2013-October 21, 2013 – I was watching the next new episode of SNL. Stephen Colbert was hosting. The opening sketch was a press conference about Malala Yousafzai and her return to Pakistan or her return to school or something like that. During the monologue, Stephen was calling out several women whose names had been bandied about as possible hosts for this episode and who were also in the audience. They shouted out in response. At the end of the monologue, they had joined him on stage. They included Amy Poehler (whose cleavage looked bigger than usual) and a famous Asian politician who I think had helped out Malala (possibly Aung San Suu Kyi). I was eating a cheesesteak and fries at my desk in my bedroom. My mom got home. My brother and sister were downstairs. I wondered if I should go down and eat dinner with them instead of eating up here.

July 25, 2015-July 26, 2015 – I was watching Billy Eichner going around and asking questions. There were a few different segments, but there was one that lasted a while in which he was with one person for a while in a woodsy area. After that segment ended, so did the show. It appeared to be a Billy on the Street episode. I think it said that it was the fourth episode of the season. I didn’t remember hearing that the new season had started. I would have to check to see if there were episodes I had missed.

July 22, 2015-July 23, 2015 – While still in bed, I was hearing about this new movie version of War of the Worlds. Some people were saying that there was an interactive element to it once it started playing. It played from a little box. I grabbed one and turned it on. I looked for somewhere to project it onto. I turned it to my wall. It turned out that the interactive part was a video game. By controlling your character, you moved the story along. The graphics were 16- or 32-bit. My character had a switchblade. I started furiously slashing at whomever was in my path.

Liquor in Bed

July 14, 2015-July 15, 2015 – I woke up. It was still early, so I was going to stay in bed for a bit. My brother had gotten up for something. There was a jug of liquor and a glass next to it from yesterday on the dresser. I got up and poured some in the glass and then drank it in bed. Someone had said earlier – and I was hearing it now – that drinking in the morning was fine in a certain way. Then my brother got back into his bed.

July 12, 2015-July 13, 2015 – I was seeing Minions. There were only four trailers, and then the movie started without any studio logo or opening credits. There were shots of cliffs and a rocky, grassy plateau. Random words appeared on the screen and then poofed off. I interpreted them to be words that the minions said. Then there were blocks of text that appeared to be reviews of the movie. One of them repeated a short word with an accent mark over and over. It looked either Spanish or Portuguese. It appeared to have been written by a minion. Then it cut to a crowd who was watching the movie. It turned out this was part of a presentation by a fifth grader, who was on stage finishing up right now. So the reviews were part of the presentation. There was a minion in the crowd. A teacher had just walked on the stage.

July 11, 2015-July 12, 2015 – I was watching the Emmys. They were taking place in a pool. I was sitting by the edge. The winners were standing on a tube in the middle of the pool. Several attendees were scattered in and around the pool. The Comedy acting winners were so far all the same as last year (except for Tony Hale, who won two years ago). But then Ilana Glazer won for Lead Actress. There were a few people I wanted to tell about this win. I was pacing up and down because I had to pee. Ilana’s speech was taking a while. I started to head to the bathroom. On my way there, I heard two girls in the pool talking. One of them said, “I think UnREAL will win.” The other said, “I think there will be 3 winners.” They were referring to the Variety Series categories, which were coming up after the break.
