January 20, 2016-January 21, 2016 – I was home by myself in the afternoon. My aunt arrived and came in to check on something that she needed to pick up. While she was looking around, some characters from Law & Order pulled in and walked around the neighborhood to investigate something. After my aunt left, I walked out to see what the L&O team was up to. Mariska Hargitay, Christopher Meloni, and a few others were there. One of them (Jesse L. Martin, I think) walked up to me in my driveway and looked like he was about to say something. But then another car pulled up and the three main guys from N.W.A. burst out. They looked like how they were portrayed in Straight Outta Compton. One of them put a bullet in another one’s head. The shooter looked like Ice Cube, but it was apparently Dr. Dre. The one who was shot must have been Eazy-E, because the remaining one was Ice Cube. He was trying to calm things down with Dre and promote collaboration.

Watch Out for Those Turns

January 13, 2016-January 14, 2016 – I was driving home from my grandmother’s. I was watching a TV show as I left. As I rounded the small corner right before the first turn, a new TV channel came on. The show was a mix of news/travel/sports/human interest.

January 12, 2016-January 13, 2016 – I was watching the last game of a special Jeopardy! tournament. The contestants were Alex Jacob, Matt Jackson, and Brennan Bushee. Alex managed to pull the win off again. So as good as Matt was, he still hadn’t beaten Alex.

Immaculate Star Wars

January 5, 2016-January 6, 2016 – I was seeing the midnight premiere of the new Star Wars with my brother and dad. I was sitting by myself. The entire new trilogy was being shown. There was a scene where the rebels were waiting at railroad tracks. Han took Rey aside and told her some things that seemed to indicate he was her father. Someone other than Leia was her mother. Then they walked back over to the tracks. Leia was working on something in a tunnel. Now it seemed like Rey didn’t have any father at all and that her mother immaculately conceived her. As the second movie was about to start, I was wondering if I was really going to stay here for all three movies. I would get home around 7:00 and then sleep until about noon. I definitely wouldn’t want to get home any later than that. Then I wondered how the whole trilogy was going to play, since only the first one was out. I realized that the second movie was going to be a spin-off and that just two movies were going to play. That made more sense.

December 25, 2015-December 26, 2015 – I realized that I hadn’t written a review of the SNL episode hosted by Adam McKay, and it was already Monday. I was going to get up and submit it quickly. I hadn’t watched the promo spots, so I was thinking I should watch them to help me with my review. I was wondering if this episode had actually aired, seeing as the Tina and Amy episode was supposed to be the last of the year. But it definitely felt like it had aired, though.

(NOTE: In my dreams, celebrities usually appear as conflations of themselves and the characters they play.  So if a dream takes place in a movie or TV show, then its characters are usually also the actors that play them.  There a few exceptions: animated characters generally are not counted this way, as they don’t tend to have this same conflated quality.  So, an appearance by Bart Simpson would not also count as an appearance by Nancy Cartwright.  Also, for fictional characters that have had multiple iterations: an appearance by Superman doesn’t count as an appearance by Henry Cavill unless it is the version of Superman as played by Henry Cavill.)

Once again, Joel McHale and Alison Brie took the top two spots, though their totals dipped from last year’s. This was probably due to Community wrapping up about midway through the year and me generally being at peace with this probably being the Greendale Gang’s series finale.
