January 21, 2010-January 22, 2010 – I was watching Back to the Future.  Marty and Doc were working in Doc’s garage.  It was only the middle of the movie but already Marty’s hand was starting to disappear.  He fell on the floor, in shock.  Later, it was the day of the thunderstorm, the day he was going to go back to 1985.  They were finishing up work on the time machine in the garage.  The car that they were originally going to use was actually an Aston-Martin, not a DeLorean.  They were trying to do something with the Aston-Martin.  It ended up rolling away from them, across the road, and into the woods across the driveway.  It caught on fire and exploded.  They then had to go back to work on a new car – the DeLorean.  Marty drove out in that car, on his way to head back.  The road outside looked like the road outside my grandmother’s.  The credits appeared as Marty was driving.  Marty was going to eventually pull over into the field by the road.  There was a large group following Marty.  They were (mostly) characters from the 2009 Syfy Alice in Wonderland series.  Marty stepped out of the car and looked at them.  Then they turned away.  It looked like Alice was about to come on the TV next.  As Marty was about to pull out of the driveway, a train suddenly appeared.  It was the train time machine from 1885, with Clara and Doc.  Marty saw himself – an earlier or future version of himself – peeking out the window at the train.  This version of Marty was also on his way to getting back to the future.  There seemed to be something of a loop going on.

March 2, 2009-March 3, 2009 – I was watching SNL.  There were four digital shorts in this episode.  The second one had been made by my brother, and the second-to-last (or last) one had been made by me.  I was watching my short.  It started out with a series of text in the format of a Microsoft Word document.  Then it showed me and a former cross-country teammate in a car.  The story was told through a series of screen shots and possibly some voiceover.  When I originally made it, I had the text interstitched with the video, but I changed it for SNL.  I was watching the video again.  I noticed that there was a lot of text in each shot of text, and no block of text was on screen long enough to be able to read it all.  I wished that I was able to re-edit it.  Some girl was with me while I watched through the video again.  I was also looking at this particular on the SNL Transcripts website at the same time.  I had originally thought that my short was the last sketch of the night.  I could see that there was only a musical performance or something short and silly afterwards, so it actually was the last sketch.

November 6, 2007-November 7, 2007 – I was watching a zombie movie, apparently the remake of Dawn of the Dead.  Some guy was learning from this mysterious lady that if he prayed to God (with a specific incantation) during a zombie attack, then he would be able to escape.  There was a family who ignored this advice.  Later, the guy and the family were in a river, pursued by zombies.  There was a wall that they had to climb over.  The guy prayed the incantation, and he was lifted over the wall.  The family didn’t pray the incantation.  The mom, the dad, and their baby daughter were able to climb over, but their young son was grabbed by a zombie before he could make it.  Then the zombie did its zombie business.  Then the boy fell into the water and floated back up, the change complete.  Then he said, “I am (his name).”  Then he saw someone’s picture on a newspaper and realized that he had to go attack him.

Swimming with the Phelps

August 18, 2004-August 19, 2004 -I was in a medley swimming relay, the whole time wondering why I had been chosen.  After the second leg – who I think was Michael Phelps – jumped in the pool, I asked the other guy yet to go who was the third leg.  I was surprised to find out that I was, because I was not too good in that leg’s stroke – the breaststroke.  I jumped in the pool and stayed under for a while, and as I was beginning my stroke and about to come up, it all ended.
