March 25, 2010-March 26, 2010 – I had just won the Oscar over Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep.  (Actually, Meryl hadn’t been that likely to win; someone else had actually been the other favorite.)  I had been nominated for Inglorious Basterds.  I was standing by the front door of our apartment.  I think Brenton was hanging out close by somewhere in the apartment.  I walked out the door to see if that was where I was supposed to go to grab my award.  There were a bunch of spectators seated on the stairs.  I walked back into the apartment.

May 18, 2009-May 19, 2009 – I was watching Invasion of the Neptune Men, but it was a little different.  We were on a farm, all running around like crazy because the Neptune men were now really getting into their attack.  I caught up with some girl while running around, and then we got into her hovercraft.  Then we went into the cornfield to escape, but there was a Neptune man in another hovercraft tailing us.  So we turned around and drove back into the farm.  But the Neptune man caught up to us and then he was driving right next to us.  “He” was wearing a helmet and visor, but I could see that the Neptune man was my sister Kaity!  The chase continued.

August 11, 2008-August 12, 2008 – I had just gotten five new puppies from the same litter.  There was also another new dog at the house.  I was worried that the dogs weren’t going to be housebroken.  They all peed on the floor at the same time.  I was looking for some stuff to spray to clean it up.  I was thinking that the puppies kind of looked like Nelli.  I looked outside where one was next to Nelli by the treehouse, and it did kind of look like her.

July 5, 2007-July 6, 2007 – Rob and I were in a movie that we were also watching.  We had to go somewhere and talk to someone to make things better.  As I was talking to the person, she said something that indicated that just talking about the problem and admitting that there was one would make things better.  Then I was flanked by two little girls.  They, the woman, and I then walked over to Rob, and the woman asked Rob if he was surprised when Nancy Drew broke up with her boyfriend.  Then we were at home, sitting around the dinner table.  As we got up, Dad showed me three video tapes.  The first one was labeled, “Do Not Delete.”  Then, in the course of some conversation, Mom said that Mrs. Gallagher was the head of some group or had won some award.  And she pointed over to Mrs. Gallagher, who was sitting on our couch.

Scrambled Football

December 21, 2006-December 22, 2006 – I was watching a football game between the Cowboys and the Falcons.  There was a pass play, and there was a penalty.  I watched the replay, where I could see some guy going after Tony Romo.  After Romo got his pass off, the Falcon slapped him in the butt, causing him to fall over.  About four flags were thrown.  Then a guy who was about five feet away jumped as though he were attempting to rough the passer, and a couple of flags were thrown towards his area.  I then realized that the penalty was roughing the passer, and so the Cowboys had the ball at about the Falcons 10.  On second down, Romo threw a pass that was intercepted at the 5.  One of the Cowboys caught up to the Falcon who had intercepted it and knocked the ball out of his hands at midfield.  In the scramble for the loose ball, another Falcon kicked it up to a teammate who was at the Dallas 20.  But some Cowboys got up there, and nobody could pick the ball up.  It rolled out of bounds at the back of the end zone.  I screamed, “Yes!”  Then I explained to the person that I was watching with that the result of the play was a touchback for the Cowboys.  The refs convened.  They said that if I knew my stuff, then it was a touchback.  Then one of them signaled first down for the Cowboys at the 20.

A Dance with Frogs

February 23, 2011-February 24, 2011 – I was hanging out at an amusement park with several family members.  Suddenly, there were very large frogs – about two feet tall – walking through the park.  They were frightening, but only due to their largeness and their strangeness, not because it looked like they were ready to attack.  I avoided contact with them without too much trouble and soon enough they were gone.  I was sitting by a pool.  Dad was sitting on a platform at the top of a ladder.  Rob was also around.  Uncle Steve was close by.  Pretty soon the frogs were back.  I jumped off the edge of the pool and started heading away from the frogs.  Everyone else was tyring to avoid them as well.  I figured out that everyone in the park was playing a game in which the object was to avoid the frogs.  I got stuck and there were two frogs close by.  One of them gnawed on my hand for a few seconds.  We were supposed to remove ourselves from the game once we had been touched by a frog.  I decided that I should stay in the game because I didn’t know the rules of the game when we started or even that we were in a game.  The frogs were gone again, as the second round had just ended.  As I was heading back to my spot, Dad got a hold of me and told me to find an issue of Time that had dropped to the bottom of the pool.  I was just about positive there were no magazines in the pool, but I told Dad that I would look.  When I got back to the pool, I took a quick look and got to thinking that it really wasn’t worth it to look for the Time.

September 16, 2010-September 17, 2010 – I was watching one of the last (maybe the third-to-last) episodes of Lost.  All the characters were walking through a cave.  A woman and her daughter came across something on the wall that gave superpowers to those who touched it.  The mother and daugther were affected by it, but they were careful to not be permanently affected.  A little later, the woman’s other daughter, who was behind everybody, touched the thing.  Her body became all stretch-y.  As she was walking along, she said, “Whoa.”  There was a group on the beach outside the cave who had managed to make a hole through which to escape out of the cave.  Kate and Sawyer might have been in this group.  It looked like everybody was going to be able to escape.  That didn’t seem right – not everybody had escaped at the end of Lost.  I tried to remember all those who had escaped – Richard, Lapidus, and Miles, as far as I could remember.  Among the crowd of people escaping from the cave, I could make out the character played by Will Forte.  He was dressed in a MacGruber getup.  I texted Brenton, “Will Forte looks just like MacGruber.”
