October 25, 2021-October 26, 2021 – I had run the New York City Marathon in about 2 hours and 35 minutes. I was taking stock of how I was able to maintain that speed the whole time. I was now hanging out out at my parents’ house. It seemed like there was another edition of the same marathon in just a few weeks that I had to be ready for. It felt like today was Sunday, so I think I also had to get ready to head back somewhere. I believe that my parents and sister were all home. Somebody else (or a few people) might have stopped by to visit. I was sitting on the living room couch for a bit.

October 5, 2021-October 6, 2021 – I was watching a Weekend Update Norm Macdonald clip that ended with a gag involving a cat. It turned out to be part of a compilation of cat gags with Norm on Update. I decided that I might watch the rest of it later. It was about seven minutes long. I paused it on my computer in my bedroom.

October 5, 2021-October 6, 2021 – I was watching The Thing with a bunch of people, including several who had never seen it before. Some people arrived that we needed to do something for/with, but there was a great scene that I wanted us to see before we got to work. I think it was the blood test scene. A dog was hanging around the facility in the movie, and a few of the characters hung around with it for a bit. Then it cut to a scene with a group of people hanging out on a dock by the water. Chevy Chase’s character walked over on the water. The Thing attacked Seth Green’s character, splitting his head open, as he yelled, “I shouldn’t have talked to The Thing!” Then it attacked Mike Myers’ character, who yelled, “Why did I talk to The Thing?!” This was getting a little intense, so I walked around from the family room to the front yard, where I ran into my cousin, who led me back the other way as I filled him in on what was going on.

June 12, 2020-June 13, 2020 – I was watching Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. It was a scene with Coulson and Yo-Yo (and maybe one other person). Yo-Yo confirmed that she was one thing but also that she wasn’t something else.

September 29, 2021-September 30, 2021 – I was hanging out with a group of people at some house. It felt like a reunion situation a la The Big Chill. We were on a scavenger hunt. We read the first clue, which led us to the second clue, which was also in the room we were in. I turned on the TV. It was Saturday night and the SNL Vintage was on. It was an episode with Norm Macdonald. I had already watched the cold opening, and now it was 10:15, and I was coming in on a sketch set in a classroom that was wrapping up. Norm was playing an old codger who was giving a lecture. He had a bunch of things written on the chalkboard in colorful chalk. I think Will Ferrell was also in this sketch. One of the things Norm had written on the board was “WIT” in big block letters. I had to get back to the scavenger hunt. I would finish watching this episode tomorrow morning.
