March 25, 2015-March 26, 2015 – I was in a situation in which I thought I needed to call 911 because of what was happening with the two people with me. But then everything calmed down and there was no need to.

Home is Where the Final Jeopardy Is

February 17, 2012-February 18, 2012 – I saw Final Jeopardy, and I knew the correct answer, so I had to rush home so that I could submit my answer. It was still the first round of the teachers tournament. There were three lady contestants on today. I was controlling the one on (viewer) right. She was tied for second with $8600. The one in first had about $9000. Since I was confident with Final, I decided that we should bet most of what we had to get a good qualifying score, but to leave $400 or $800 so that we wouldn’t have zero in the chance that we got it wrong. The clue for Final said something about “these two shows that both air on Thursday that have a female lead,” and I knew that they were going for The Vampire Diaries and The Secret Circle. I raced home from a few streets away. The think music was winding down as I got in and started writing down my answer. I didn’t manage to write it all out before the music ended, and in my haste I had also made some spelling errors. I finished writing it out anyway. As Alex looked over the answers, it didn’t look like they were going to accept it. I was also realizing that answering Final Jeopardy in this manner probably wasn’t going to actually get me on Jeopardy!

February 18, 2012-February 19, 2012 – I had two concerts to attend on my schedule for March. I was looking at my calendar and figuring out how I was going to get to them. Then I think I had to go watch a TV show.
Passion is Danger

March 21, 2015-March 22, 2015 – I was watching the next new episode of Community (season 6, episode 3). It seemed like it was leading up to something passionate between Jeff and Annie. It looked like it was going to happen without warning and take up a good portion of the episode. I was worried that the fans who didn’t like romance were going to be really turned off.
The Ponderance of Body Types

February 15, 2012-February 16, 2012 – I was looking at photos hanging up in a room that looked like the downstairs computer room at my home. There was a girl helping me look over them. One of the photos featured St. Vincent (the musician). Another featured a similarly skinny girl. I pondered the nature of their skinny frames.

March 18, 2015-March 19, 2015 – I was looking at the Emmy nominations for this year, which had just been announced. I went over the comedy categories. Then I scanned back up over them, having noticed that there wasn’t much Modern Family. And indeed, its only nod was for Ty Burrell (and maybe also Julie Bowen). In the Supporting Actor field, there were two actors named Kyle (the first two listed): one from a show I didn’t recognize and the other from The Goldbergs (or a show like The Goldbergs). I was a little disappointed that Community didn’t have any nominations, considering that Yahoo! had been planning an Emmy campaign. But I figured with the nominees revealed in March, there wasn’t much time for a campaign.
…And Starring ‘Life of Pi’ as Themselves

January 8, 2013-January 9, 2013 – I was just finishing watching something in the living room. It was about 12:20 AM; NBC was rerunning the Louis C.K. SNL episode. I figured I’d catch some of it. The musical guest was “Life of Pi” (it was the Lincoln/Life of Pi episode). I turned it on and saw a close-up of a tiger on stage at the end of a musical performance. Then I started rewinding to get to the Lincoln sketch. Then I thought I’d stop at Weekend Update to catch Louie’s performance as “The Guy You Talked to at a Party.” As I was rewinding, I saw a head peaking up outside the window. He was the guy I had seen earlier. I tried to get up and throw something at him as I yelled, “Get the fuck-“
Believe It Or Not, Kanye’s on the Phone

February 25, 2015-February 26, 2015 – I was expecting to hear some indication from Kanye West that he wanted to collaborate with me. Then I got a phone call. A recording of a song started playing. Presumably this was the song he wanted to collaborate on. I took the phone off my ear and held it out so that my brother and I could both hear it.
