June 24, 2016-June 25, 2016 – I was coming back from somewhere in Pittsburgh with a woman and her twentysomething daughter. We stopped at their house. A friend of the girl’s came over. The two of them went upstairs. Then someone dressed like Elvis walked through the front door. The mom greeted him like he was the actual Elvis. This was taking place in the 90s, but he still looked too young (and not dead) to be the actual Elvis. Mom went off somewhere. Elvis went upstairs. There was a dog. A second friend showed up at some point. The daughter came downstairs and let me know that she and her friend were hanging out with Elvis on the bed. I let her know that I was probably too tired to join them. But then I went up. Based on the size of the bed, it looked like we were in the parents’ room. It looked like things were about to get frisky. And indeed, the girls slipped their tops down and got under the cover with Elvis. I just lay down on the edge of the bed and closed my eyes, trying to take a quick nap. But then I got up and decided to leave. Downstairs, I ran into the other friend, who was also on her way out. She asked me which way she needed to go. She was heading to Oklahoma. I was pretty sure I knew which highway she needed to take, but then I thought about it, and I actually wasn’t sure. Then I thought about my trip back. I didn’t know how I was going to make the whole trip back to Yardley (PA) tonight. But it somehow, though not quite, felt like I was close enough to make it there easily. The area looked like Bucks County.
