The Ottawa Phillies

February 17, 2011-February 18, 2011 – Baseball tickets for the upcoming season had recently gone on sale.  I was coordinating with Jeff the Phillies tickets that we would be buying.  I had immediately, and rather haphazardly, headed to Ottawa to buy tickets to the Ottawa Phillies, one of their minor league teams.  While I was in line, I was wondering if it really made sense to buy Ottawa tickets.  I was pretty sure that Greg and Jeff were currently buying Phils tickets.  I knew we were planning on buying a package deal for a closer minor league team.  I started to think of how long it would take me, Jeff, Walt, and Dave to make it to Ottawa.  It was closer than, say, Vancouver, but it would still take a while.  If it were a night game, we could stay at a hotel and leave the next day.  We could stay the night before if we had to.  Money wouldn’t really be an issue.  Then I started to wonder how I seemed to have gotten to Ottawa so quickly this time.  Then I went to meet up with Jeff and Greg.
